Ambassador Christian Frutiger is Vice-Director General and Head of Thematic Cooperation at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). He is responsible for the seven thematic sections of SDC, working towards the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Peter Wuffli (*1957) is the Founder and Chairman of elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization. elea is a philanthropic impact investor with the purpose to fight absolute poverty with entrepreneurial means. eleas investments – across Africa, Asia, and Latin America – are centered around agricultural value chains, last-mile retail and services, employable skills, and climate and livelihoods.
Alisee de Tonnac is co-founder and co-CEO of Seedstars, a Swiss investment holding that promotes technology and entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Seedstars partners with governments, institutions and investors, providing capital, knowledge and connections through programmes such as Seedstars International Ventures. Alisee also serves on boards and is a member of the Swiss Innovation Council.
Daniel Belfer has been CEO of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since November 2019 and chairs the Group Executive Board. He is also Chairman of Sarasin & Partners LLP and of bank zweiplus ltd. Daniel Belfer has held several leadership roles within the J. Safra Group since 2000. Prior to being CEO, he had been responsible for the Trading, Treasury and Asset Management Division.
Reto Ringger (60) is a pioneer and entrepreneur bridging financial markets and sustainability. In 2011 he founded Globalance Bank, an owner-run Swiss Private bank specializing in sustainable investments, which he still leads today as CEO. He founded SAM Group in 1995, which became one of the world’s leading providers of sustainable investments. In 2019 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the International University in Geneva.
Marion Leslie joined SIX Group in January 2020 as Head Financial Information and a member of the SIX Executive Board. Marion is the representative on the Executive Board for Sustainability and is also a member of the BME Board of Directors and the SIX Digital Exchange Board of Directors. As Head Financial Information, Marion leads the SIX global data business, serving FIs with critical data and insights to support their clients.
Vincent Kaufmann, CEO of the Ethos Foundation and Ethos Services since 2015, has been an integral part of the company's management since 2011 and Deputy CEO since 2013. He joined Ethos in 2004 as a corporate governance analyst and has progressed to senior analyst and deputy head of corporate governance. He also sits on supervisory boards and has expertise in accounting and corporate governance.
Michael Baldinger is the Chief Sustainability Officer at UBS. In this role, he is responsible for the implementation of the Group Executive Board's sustainability and impact strategy and provides oversight for sustainability-related projects and activities across UBS. He also represents UBS Group as President of the Swiss Banking Association’s Expert Commission, Sustainable Finance.
Kirsten joined WWF International in January 2023 to lead and coordinate the federated global conservation organization, including the teams at the WWF International Secretariat and 34 country offices in Africa, Asia and Europe. Prior to joining WWF International, Kirsten was CEO of WWF-Netherlands for over six years; transforming the organization into an influential conservation organization with a strong focus on resilient landscapes and societal movement.
Christoph Baumann is Envoy for Sustainable Finance at the SIF, where he leads the Swiss government's sustainable finance activities, ranging from negotiations in multilateral bodies to domestic initiatives. Christoph is co-chair of the International Platform on Sustainable Finance’s Working Group on Transition Finance, Switzerland’s G20 Finance DD, and head of the Swiss delegation for the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group.
Patrick Odier is the president of Swiss Sustainable Finance, elected in June 2021. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd. since January 1st, 2014, and he has been Senior Managing Partner of the Lombard Odier Group since July 1st, 2008.
Sabine Döbeli has worked in the field of sustainable finance for 25 years in different roles. She established SSF and took over the role as CEO in 2014. She is a member of advisory councils, for various organisations such as the Swiss Federal Council and the FOEN.
